ABOUT ME

Mamma Mia! I'll be doing "Mamma Mia!" close to home this summer, at the New Theatre in Kansas City. Most recently, I was part of the lucky ones to premier Stephen Schwartz's   The Secret Silk and serve as assistant dance captain. New York City is my homebase, where I work with the 501c3   ALMA NYC as a dancer and vocalist. I strive to use my creativity and talents to give life and love to the city and those around me.

Having grown up in Missouri and later moving to Alaska, I have a diverse history. I started out in gymnastics and competed seriously for 9 years. In Alaska, I transitioned to dance and received training in Ballet, Jazz, and Hiphop. I fell in love with dance and promised to continue for the rest of my life.

I moved back to Missouri to pursue a degree in Architecture, while resolving to dedicate summers solely to dance training. I studied with The Ailey School, Stephens College and Missouri Contemporary Ballet, and expanded my training to techniques including modern (Graham and Horton), Pointe, Tap, Ballroom, Voice, and Acting. I had the privilege of working with phenomenal instructors including Ana Forsythe, Peter O'Brien, Robert Atwood, Jacquelin Buglisi, Eddie Stockton, Michael Gorman, Tony Parise, Helen Starr, Robyn Lee, Sean France, and Karen Grundy.
